We're working with a privately owned international forwarder with a substantial global network, who are hiring an Air & Ocean Business Development Manager in Melbourne covering Victoria. Full-time with flexible hybrid working, plus car, superannuation and uncapped commission.
- Developing new business across international air and ocean freight
- Identifying, approaching and converting importers and exporters across the state
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding and implementation
- Building long-term customer relationships with regular engagement
- Selling air freight, ocean freight and customs brokerage
- Backed by a stable local branch and an established client base
- Service-led culture built on long-term relationships rather than transactional sales
- Proven business development experience in international freight forwarding
