We're working with an established international forwarder with a strong global network, who are growing their Brisbane operation. They're hiring an Air & Ocean Business Development Manager covering Queensland - full-time, hybrid, with commission and superannuation on top of base.
- Identifying, prospecting and winning new customers across targeted sectors
- Building and converting a pipeline into sustainable revenue
- Developing trade lane and solution-based sales strategies
- Working with product, procurement and overseas offices to shape the offer
- Preparing, presenting and negotiating tenders, RFQs and proposals
- Representing the business at industry events and client meetings
- Keeping CRM records accurate and reporting on pipeline and performance
- Proven business development experience in international freight forwarding
- Reports to the state manager, with air, ocean and contract logistics to sell
