We're working with an established international forwarder who are rebuilding their Texas operation out of Southlake, close to DFW airport. Three Air & Ocean Operators are needed, two immediately and a third to follow. It's effectively a greenfield build with a warm book of business transferring in, covering Texas, Oklahoma and cross-border.
- Handling air and ocean shipments across import and export
- Cross-trade and multimodal for now, with services segregating as volume builds
- Ocean is the priority mode, though air-strong candidates are very much in play
- Genuine account management and client relationship work, not purely operational
- Six years minimum in freight forwarding operations, ten preferred
- CargoWise experience beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable working through an agent network, and suited to a start-up environment
- On-site in Southlake, limited home working
