We are looking for an experienced Air & Ocean Export Agent to join a globally established freight forwarder in Atlanta. You will be responsible for managing export shipments from booking through to final departure, ensuring a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage air and ocean export shipments from start to finish.
- Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and international offices/agents.
- Track shipments and provide customers with timely updates.
- Ensure shipments comply with customs and freight forwarding requirements.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in both air and ocean freight forwarding is preferred
- Good knowledge of export procedures and documentation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- CargoWise experience is required
Salary: Up to $70,000 per year
