Job Title: Aerospace/Time Critical Business Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our client's team as an Aerospace/Time Critical Freight Business Development Manager/Sales Executive.


In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships within the aerospace industry. Your primary focus will be on selling time-critical airfreight solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of aerospace companies mostly in the Florida area, ensuring the timely delivery of critical components, equipment, and spare parts.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect, identify, and target aerospace companies as potential clients for time-critical freight services.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the aerospace sector.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts.
  4. Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose customized freight solutions that address clients' specific time-sensitive requirements.
  5. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure the seamless execution and delivery of freight services.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to win new business and secure long-term partnerships.
  8. Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to management to evaluate progress towards sales goals and inform strategic decision-making.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our client's aerospace freight solutions.
  10. Continuously seek feedback from clients to enhance service offerings, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on selling freight or logistics services.
  • Experience working within or selling to the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
