Salary Range: $120,000–$140,000 + commission + superannuation

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES


This role is responsible for driving new business growth across air and ocean freight services within the Queensland market.

  • Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities across targeted industry sectors
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, converting opportunities into sustainable revenue
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight and specialist services
  • Leverage strong carrier relationships to deliver competitive and time-critical solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service solutions to prospective clients
  • Maintain regular engagement with customers to support retention and growth
  • Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide structured sales reporting


PREFERRED CANDIDATES


  • Proven experience in business development within freight forwarding or international logistics
  • Strong understanding of air and ocean freight markets
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business and build long-term client relationships
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating with autonomy
