We're working with an established international forwarder, hiring a Customs Entry Writer in the Detroit area. The role sits at the compliance end of the business, keeping clearances moving.
- Preparing, reviewing and transmitting US customs entries and documentation
- Classifying goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
- Liaising with brokers, carriers and clients to resolve entry issues
- Maintaining compliance with US Customs and Partner Government Agency requirements
- One to two years of import or customs entry experience
- Knowledge of HTS, ACE and customs regulations preferred
