Summary:
A leading global freight forwarding and logistics provider is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Import & Export Coordinator to join its growing Düsseldorf office. This role offers the opportunity to manage international ocean freight shipments from start to finish while working within a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate FCL and LCL import and export shipments.

Arrange bookings with shipping lines and overseas partners.

Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers.

Prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs-related paperwork.

Liaise with customers, carriers, agents, customs authorities, and transport providers.

Ensure all shipments are handled in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

Resolve operational issues and support the delivery of high service levels.

Maintain accurate shipment and billing records within the company system.
Requirements:

Previous experience in ocean freight forwarding (import, export, or both).

Good understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.

Fluent German and good English language skills.

Experience using freight forwarding systems is advantageous.
