We're recruiting for a top 25 global forwarder with a long-established family ownership structure. They're hiring an Ocean Freight Operator in Frankfurt, covering sea freight export end to end.
- Ensuring correct clearance of sea freight export consignments to customs and legal requirements
- Planning and organising transport across all modes in sea freight export
- Tracking consignments and negotiating rates
- Supporting and advising customers worldwide
- International correspondence within the global network and with partners
- Handling complaints independently and developing customer-focused solutions
- Acting as the point of contact for accurate billing and invoicing
- Completed commercial apprenticeship in freight forwarding or comparable
- Some forwarding experience ideal, but career changers are welcome
- Good English and MS Office; a team-oriented and flexible approach
