We're working with a mid-sized global forwarder, who are hiring an Ocean Import Operator (Automotive) for their Hamburg office. You'd take ownership of a portfolio of import files end to end, dealing directly with overseas agents and shipping lines rather than working through a shared service centre.
- Full A-Z handling of FCL and LCL import shipments
- Direct contact with customers, carriers, agents and customs authorities
- Documentation, arrival notices and customs coordination
- Suits someone with existing ocean import experience in a forwarding environment
- Fluent English required
