We are looking for an experienced Pricing Specialist with a background in freight forwarding and logistics to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing pricing strategies across air, ocean, and ground freight services. You will play a key role in securing competitive rates, supporting sales initiatives, and maximizing profitability while ensuring service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain competitive pricing structures for air, ocean, and road freight services
  • Source, negotiate, and manage carrier rates (airlines, shipping lines, and trucking providers)
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for global shipments in collaboration with sales teams
  • Analyze market trends, capacity, and seasonal fluctuations to adjust pricing strategies
  • Maintain and update tariffs, rate sheets, and pricing databases
  • Work closely with operations and procurement teams to ensure pricing aligns with service capabilities
  • Monitor margins and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Support RFQs, tenders, and contract pricing for key clients
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company pricing policies


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or logistics coordination
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, international shipping processes, and global trade lanes
  • Experience with air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL), and ground transportation pricing
  • Proven ability to negotiate rates with carriers and vendors
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with TMS or freight management systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven and comfortable working remotely


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling large RFQs and global tenders
  • Knowledge of customs processes and documentation
  • Familiarity with digital freight platforms and rate management tools
  • Background in supply chain optimization or procurement
