ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Project Logistics team, this role supports the coordination and execution of specialised project cargo movements. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, overseas offices, suppliers, and clients to ensure project shipments are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with agreed schedules and budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate end-to-end project logistics movements across import and export
- Support planning and execution of complex cargo movements, including oversized or non-standard freight
- Liaise with overseas offices, carriers, ports, and service providers
- Track shipments and provide accurate status updates and reporting
- Manage project documentation, including bills of lading and commercial paperwork
- Assist with quotations, cost tracking, and client invoicing
- Identify and communicate operational risks, delays, or issues
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry safety standards
PREFERRED CANDIDATES
- Knowledge of CargoWise systems
- Experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, or complex cargo operations
- Exposure to project cargo or industrial logistics environments preferred
- Strong coordination, organisation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Motivated to develop a career within project logistics
