We're working with an independent international forwarder, who are growing their ocean freight team near Cologne. They're looking for a Sea Freight Specialist to manage import and export shipments from start to finish.
- Coordinating FCL and LCL import and export shipments
- Arranging bookings with shipping lines and overseas partners
- Monitoring shipment progress and updating customers proactively
- Preparing and reviewing bills of lading and customs paperwork
- Liaising with customers, carriers, agents, customs authorities and hauliers
- Maintaining accurate shipment and billing records
- Suits someone with ocean freight forwarding experience, import or export
- Fluent German and good English
- Hybrid working - three days in the office, two from home
