Position Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Arrangements: Full-time, Hybrid (1 day WFH per week)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 + superannuation

With a reputation for professionalism and operational expertise, the company manages a wide range of freight services across air, ocean, and multimodal transport. The organisation focuses on delivering reliable logistics solutions while maintaining strong relationships with international partners, carriers, and service providers.

 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role supports the coordination of international and domestic freight movements across air, ocean, and project cargo operations. Working closely with customers, overseas agents, and transport providers, the position manages shipments from booking through to final delivery and invoicing.

 

·       Coordinate international and domestic freight movements across air and sea freight operations

·       Manage shipments from quotation through to final invoicing and completion

·       Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and service providers to execute shipments

·       Monitor cargo movements and provide shipment updates to customers

·       Prepare and manage shipping documentation and operational records

·       Coordinate with customs brokers, quarantine authorities, and transport providers where required

·       Maintain accurate shipment data within the freight forwarding system

·       Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service

 

PREFERRED CANDIDATES:

·       Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination (2+ years preferred)

·       Exposure to import and export processes and international shipping documentation

·       Strong communication and customer service skills

·       High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems

·       Experience with CargoWise advantageous but not essential
