Our client, a top 25 global forwarder, is hiring an Air Export Operator based at Frankfurt Airport. You would handle export files in full, including the customs side, working with the overseas network daily.
- Taking export bookings and handling shipments through to departure
- Export customs clearance and preparation of export documentation
- Invoicing customers and agents at home and abroad
- Handling letters of credit and instalment arrangements
- Telephone support for customers and contact with the worldwide branch network
- Managing customer complaints and claims, and checking invoices
- Suits someone with at least two years in air export operations
- Commercial training in freight forwarding or logistics preferred
- Good German and English
