We're working with an established international forwarder, who are hiring an Air Freight Import Clerk just outside Frankfurt. You would run your own import files end to end rather than handling a single step of the process.
- Independent handling of air freight import shipments
- Taking bookings, recording orders and seeing them through to delivery
- Arranging and scheduling onward carriage
- Monitoring deadlines, transit times and quality standards
- Day to day contact with customers, airlines, partners and overseas offices
- Suits someone with air freight import experience at a forwarder
- Commercial training in freight forwarding or a logistics degree preferred
- Good English, and confident with standard office and transport management systems
