Customs Entry Writer - Hybrid - Atlanta, GA
A well-established international logistics and freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced Customs Entry Writer to join its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of U.S. import customs procedures who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file customs entries for import shipments in accordance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection regulations
• Accurately classify merchandise using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
• Review and maintain accurate, complete import documentation
• Work closely with carriers, customs brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely clearance and delivery
• Communicate with customers and agents regarding entry status, delays, discrepancies, and clearance issues
• Identify and resolve documentation or entry-related issues efficiently
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Customs Entry Writer
• Solid understanding of U.S. import customs procedures and compliance requirements
• Experience using CargoWise is preferred
On offer is a salary of up to $73k & a hybrid working schedule.
