A small projects team within a large European logistics group is looking for someone to handle breakbulk, heavy lift and OOG cargo, mainly by sea on breakbulk vessels. The unusual part: you set your own balance, from 100% operations to 100% pricing or any mix in between. It suits someone who likes the hands-on feel of a smaller forwarder but wants a big group behind them.
- Quote complex heavy lift, OOG and breakbulk projects from ex works to DDP, including chartering
- Handle export, import and crosstrade shipments worldwide, with a focus on Latin America, Africa and Australia/New Zealand
- Work on projects worth €500k to €5m across mining, cement, recycling, hydropower and biomass
You'll need some breakbulk, heavy lift or OOG experience with a freight forwarder, and both junior and experienced candidates are welcome. The role is office-based five days a week, so you learn from the team every day.
