We're recruiting for an independent forwarder with a loyal client base. They're hiring an Ocean Import Agent for their New York office. You'd take ownership of a portfolio of import files end to end, dealing directly with overseas agents and shipping lines rather than working through a shared service centre.
- Full A-Z handling of FCL and LCL import shipments
- Direct contact with customers, carriers, agents and customs authorities
- Documentation, arrival notices and customs coordination
- Suits someone with existing ocean import experience in a forwarding environment
- Fluent English required
