We're working with a specialist project forwarder, who are hiring a Project Freight Forwarder in Germany. It suits someone with a strong project logistics and ocean freight background who enjoys coordinating genuinely complex movements.
- Coordinating international project cargo from planning through to delivery
- Complex OOG, breakbulk and heavy-lift movements via ocean and multimodal transport
- Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, customs paperwork and transport plans
- Liaising with customers, shipping lines, carriers and overseas agents
- Monitoring progress, resolving operational challenges and updating customers proactively
- Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations
- Completed vocational training in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services or equivalent
- Several years in project logistics and ocean freight forwarding
- Fluent English essential; German advantageous
