Freight Appointments is working with a midsize American international freight forwarder to recruit an International Sales Executive to work out of their Boston office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hunter with exceptional sales skills to take ownership of the New England territory and drive business growth.
Job Description
- Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and acquire new clients in the New England territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of customer shipments
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management review
Key Requirements
- Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results
- Knowledge of the New England territory and its shipping industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
