Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of 12 import, export & trucking coordinators
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient coordination of import, export, and trucking activities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance and enhance customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with international trade laws
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team
Key requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics management
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams
- In-depth knowledge of import, export, and trucking operations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving targets
