Head of Germany and Switzerland Sales - Pharmaceutical Vertical, Freight Forwarding

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the Germany and Switzerland markets in the pharmaceutical vertical of the freight forwarding industry.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Monitor market activities, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and business development in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on pharmaceutical logistics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the Germany and Switzerland markets, with an extensive network of contacts in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Sound understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
