Job Description
- Coordinate and manage ocean export and import shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and agents to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process
Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight forwarding procedures and regulations
- Experience in coordinating and managing export and import shipments
- Proficiency in using shipping software and systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of CargoWise
