Job Description:
- Manage and oversee all ocean export activities in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Coordinate shipments and work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of export coordinators and provide guidance and support
- Develop and implement efficient export processes and procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize supply chain operations
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in ocean export operations
- Min. 2 years in a supervisory position within the industry
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight forwarding procedures and regulations
- Experience in coordinating and managing export and import shipments
- Proficiency in using shipping software and systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
