The Company:

With offices in multiple locations in Benelux and a strong international presence, they specialize in delivering efficient and reliable logistics services to their clients. As a Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving the business growth and expanding the customer base.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air and ocean freight forwarding industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the logistics industry, preferably in air and ocean freight forwarding.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of the regional air and ocean freight forwarding market in Amsterdam.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Having an extensive background in logistics & supply chain recruitment, Lucie is the ideal person to start the France market for Freight Appointments. She particularly likes attending gigs, discovering & cooking good food, and petting cats & dogs she comes across in the street (and in the office!). Lucie attends a weekly pottery class and has promised a nice fruit bowl for the office.
