Freight Forwarding Sales Manager

Are you a skilled and motivated sales professional with experience in the freight forwarding industry? Our client, a mid-sized and growing freight forwarder based in Frankfurt, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Freight Forwarding Sales Person, focusing on air and ocean sales. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to set up a new sales vertical, making it an ideal position for specialists in a particular commodity or vertical.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in the air and ocean freight forwarding sector.
  • Identify and target potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on air and ocean sales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.

Salary and Benefits:
