Are you from an operations background and are wanting to progress in your career? We are looking for a candidate with an air export background who is interested in becoming a Senior Account Executive for one of the top ten freight forwarders. You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new prospects as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing accounts. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will help you succeed as a Senior Account Executive.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for new business development – air, ocean, logistics services warehousing/distribution.
- Manage and track client outreach
- Strategize innovative ways to reach new clients
- Work closely with CS/Operational staff on business implementation, account management and overall account support
- Assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets to include overall territory target and individual account targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration or economics.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales and marketing preferably in the freight forwarding/logistics business.
- Minimum 2 years direct client selling.
- Valid state motor vehicle operators license. Willingness to travel extensively in branch territory.
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
