Are you a skilled Financial Controller looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join our client at a mid-sized Italian freight forwarder based in New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain financial controls within the accounting department
- Manage the activities of employees in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Conduct profit and loss checks by department and/or client
- Assist with budgeting reports
- Ensure expenses are in line with projected revenue
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations accurately
- Manage asset and liability purchases and record keeping
