Job description

Our client, an established international logistics provider, is looking for a confident and detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to support their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in project logistics, thrives on precision, and understands the general pace of freight forwarding.


Acting as a central hub between sales, operations, and international agents, you’ll be responsible for preparing competitive and timely quotations across air, sea, and specialist cargo. You’ll help drive commercial success by ensuring that customer requests are handled with speed, clarity, and care.


This is a role with genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible impact. For the right person, there’s a clear path to more senior commercial or leadership roles.


What You’ll Be Doing:


Quoting & Pricing Coordination

  • Respond to pricing requests from clients and overseas agents with accurate, competitive quotations
  • Source rates from service providers for a variety of shipments—including air freight, ocean freight, and project/OOG cargo
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure quoting aligns with operational capabilities
  • Maintain pricing records and ensure systems (including CargoWise) are kept up to date


Client & Partner Interaction

  • Be the go-to contact for quoting and rate-related queries
  • Build strong working relationships with overseas agents, ensuring smooth information flow and collaboration
  • Follow up on submitted quotes to gather insights, improve conversion rates, and refine future pricing strategies


Sales Operations Support

  • Assist with the preparation of tenders, proposals, and presentations
  • Contribute to internal reporting on quoting activity and win/loss data
  • Help shape and improve internal quoting processes to reduce turnaround times and enhance accuracy


What You’ll Bring:


  • 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding
  • Strong understanding of quoting and rate procurement processes
  • Proficiency in CargoWise
  • Familiarity with OOG/project cargo is highly advantageous
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to manage relationships across cultures and time zones
  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working to deadlines
